Gasper’s Exterior Furnishings Gallery Announced as one of Five Finalists for the Prestigious Apollo Award 2020
In the winter of 2019, the Gasper furniture department was rebranded as the Exterior Furnishings Gallery to let the public know something inspiring was about to be unveiled. Our Exterior Furnishings Gallery now represents the finest brands in the business — and not just for outdoor furniture, but also for high-quality décor items that harmoniously accentuate the brands offered.
Following the rebrand, an expanded and redesigned showroom made apparent for our customers the wide range of elegant and creatively functional outdoor living solutions we offer.
Our new furniture manager, Eli Hymer, quickly became indispensable through his broad network of top-quality vendors, professional relationships, and his keen awareness of customer preferences. Our furniture customers bring a wide variety of specific tastes and temperaments. Eli intuitively understands their outdoor living needs and aspirations, and designs accordingly for them with great success. As a result, Gasper has experienced increased sales and repeat-customer satisfaction — not to mention rave reviews.
It is no wonder Gasper’s Exterior Furnishings Gallery is a national finalist for the most outstanding outdoor furniture store of 2020. The International Casual Furniture Retail Association, ICFA, and the Apollo Award honor the highest qualities among casual furnishing retailers, including innovative merchandising, outstanding customer service, and overall operations of casual furniture retailers in the nation.
Finalists must demonstrate outstanding accomplishments and a commitment to customer service. The ICFA membership will vote via an online ballot for a winner later this summer. Finalists are honored, and the winner announced at the ICFA Awards Gala. It is also worth noting Gasper is one of only five finalists nationally. This is also the first time Gasper has been nominated for the Apollo Award.
In addition to bringing national prestige and recognition and sales to Gasper, Eli’s qualities shine through in other ways at Gasper. In addition to always promoting a cheerful work environment, EIi loves to surprise us with treats, birthday celebrations, and amusing jokes to brighten our day. Eli also launched our annual Gasper Gives program and has elevated Gasper culture. We are proud and fortunate to count him among our Gasper colleagues, and we wish him continued success.
