Establishing trust throughout multiple home improvement projects, Gasper delivers another beautifully designed backyard.
This featured project highlights homeowners Marianne and Simon A., who exemplify how Gasper builds strong relationships with clients. “When I first saw the Gasper brochures showcasing large pool projects, I thought our house would be too small for them. But when I spoke with Bob Gasper II, he was incredibly straightforward and eager to find a solution that worked for us,” explained Marianne.

They started with a small project, hiring Gasper to remove a tree and a small brick wall, followed by regrading their backyard. Later, they brought Gasper back to enhance the landscaping in front of their home. They continued to choose Gasper because they regarded them as a reliable partner.
When it came time to remove the old deck, which had settled unevenly and had become discolored with age, the couple returned to Gasper for a third time. Bob visited the site again and had a productive discussion with Marianne and Simon about their goals for the new backyard design. The main feature they wanted was a cooking station with a bar top where they could entertain family and friends. Additionally, they wished to replace the deck with a paver patio. Since the original deck was situated close to the ground, transitioning to a patio was straightforward. This change ultimately made the outdoor space feel more accessible, as it eliminated the unnecessary railings from the old deck.

Marianne and Simon next met with Eli Hymer, Gasper Exterior Furnishings Studio Exterior Designer, to design and furnish their new patio. Eli made it a priority to understand how they wanted to use the space, asking questions such as, “What is your style?” and “How do you plan to use the space?” In their opinion, Eli’s best recommendation was the high-backed swivel rockers (by Patio Renaissance) he suggested for the lower patio. One of the couple’s favorite aspects of the new patio is sitting together in those rockers, where they can easily turn to face each other or enjoy the view of the yard.

After completing their third project with Gasper, Marianne and Simon remained very pleased with their decision to collaborate with them on all their exterior projects.
