The Chelsea collection has a classic transitional design that complements a broad range of architectural styles. The Chelsea pieces are generously proportioned, comfortable, and constructed from solid teak.
The Frances Collection
The chic, sloped arm styling of Frances is relaxed yet sophisticated. Seating pieces are deep and comfortable with plush, luxurious cushions. Frames are constructed from only the finest all-weather wicker and sturdy bases of solid teak hardwood.
The Sag Harbor Collection
Hand-crafted from the finest all-weather materials, our Sag Harbor dining and deep seating collection is a beautiful addition to any natural setting. The collection also includes a generous lounge chair, ottoman, loveseat, and dining. The piece is hand-woven using extra-large wicker fiber, making for heavier and more substantial seating than typical outdoor wicker pieces. Cushions are made with Sunbrella® or Outdura® fabric.

Committed to Environmental Responsibility
Preservation of the Earth’s ecological system is a major concern today. Indiscriminate deforestation of the Amazon Basin and other rainforests has led to widespread public suspicion of those companies in the teak industry. Kingsley Bate is the first American company to use Javanese teak in the manufacture of its furniture. Their teak is harvested from carefully controlled plantations established in Indonesia by the Dutch in the mid-19th century. The Indonesian government allows the felling of a limited number of trees each year and ensures that an equal amount of reforestation takes place. In 1983, Kingsley Bate, in conjunction with the Indonesian government and its people, undertook the development of a teak furniture program in Java. Since then, Indonesia and Kingsley Bate have shown that such a program can be implemented without detrimental effects on that country’s natural resources. Due to the increasing demand for this beautiful hardwood, Kingsley Bate now uses a select amount of Burmese teak in its productions. Whether Javanese or Burmese, you can be assured that they use only the finest quality teak in their furniture.
